Ribbon Communications Inc. will present its optical solutions at the 2025 Optical Fiber Communications Conference and Exhibition (OFC). The company focuses on assisting service providers, enterprises, and critical infrastructure operators in enhancing their networks while managing increased traffic demands.
“We believe we are uniquely positioned to support Tier 1 and Tier 2 service providers worldwide with IP optical solutions that keep pace with the continued exponential growth in traffic and meet the unique requirements of emerging technologies, including AI,” said Sam Bucci, Ribbon's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “Additionally, our low-code solutions help enable citizen developers to efficiently and effectively manage their networks.”
At booth 2062, Ribbon plans to highlight several products:
- Muse Multilayer Automation Platform: This platform includes a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) Muse Agent that allows users to query their network's state and receive accurate information for real-time management.
- NPT 2714: A high-capacity aggregation router designed with a new orthogonal architecture, blending modular and fixed systems for flexible network management.
- Apollo ADM400/800 Switchponders: These optical networking modules optimize service switching with low power consumption.
- Apollo 9408 and 9458 Compact Modular Transport and OLS Platforms: These platforms achieve high density with low power consumption, suitable for large providers.
The NPT 2714 and Apollo ADM 400/800 have been recognized in the 2025 Lightwave + BTR Innovation Reviews, receiving honors at the Innovation Showcase on March 31 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
