Recognition underscores Rapid7’s ongoing commitment to LGBTQ+ workplace equality and inclusion.
Rapid7, Inc., a cybersecurity company, received a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2025 Corporate Equality Index, which evaluates companies on LGBTQ+ workplace equality policies.
The company's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) (DEI) philosophy emphasizes creating equal opportunities for all employees. This achievement places Rapid7 among 765 U.S. businesses recognized as leaders in LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion.
“Multi-dimensional experiences and perspectives spark the inclusive innovation necessary to solve complex security challenges,” said Sophia Dozier, director of DEI at Rapid7. “We will continue to evolve, ensuring our progress is both equitable and inclusive as we work to inspire and equip the next generation to build a safer digital future.”
RaShawn “Shawnie” Hawkins, senior director of workplace equality at HRCF, highlighted the significance of the CEI as a transparency tool that promotes fairness for LGBTQ+ employees. The index's year-over-year growth is indicative of a business community acknowledging their responsibility in upholding equity.
The 2025 CEI surveyed 1,449 participants, showcasing a significant increase since its inception, which began with 319 companies. A record 98 percent of CEI businesses have non-discrimination protections specifically for gender identity.
The CEI evaluates companies based on non-discrimination policies, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers, support for an inclusive culture, and Corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The full report is accessible on the HRC website.
