NVIDIA has announced the launch of the GeForce RTX 5060 family of GPUs, designed for enhanced gaming experiences and creative workflows, with a starting price of $299.
The lineup includes the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 graphics cards, boasting features such as NVIDIA DLSS 4, full ray tracing, and NVIDIA Reflex technologies. These advancements aim to improve performance and image quality significantly.
Matt Wuebbling, vice president of GeForce marketing at NVIDIA, stated, “The RTX 5060 family offers gamers next-generation performance and AI-enhanced visuals starting at $299. Powered by the advanced NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and featuring DLSS 4 technology in over 100 games, this new class of GPUs elevates gaming with stunning visuals, high frame rates, and quick responsiveness.”
The RTX 5060 family enables features like Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution, reducing latency through NVIDIA Reflex. More than 100 titles, including blockbuster games like Alan Wake 2, Black Myth: Wukong, Cyberpunk 2077, and Hogwarts Legacy, provide enhanced visuals at over 100 frames per second on maximum settings.
Additionally, the RTX 5060 family supports creative professionals. With Blackwell FP4 Tensor Cores and ninth-generation NVIDIA NVENC encoders, the GPUs can assist livestreamers, 3D artists, and video editors in their workflows.
NVIDIA has also introduced the GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, which combines gaming and creative features into laptops, ensuring compatibility with 144 fps and 8K 4:2:2 color format video editing. These laptops, starting at a thickness of 14.9 millimeters, achieve double the frame rates and reduced latency compared to previous generations.
The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics cards start from $429 for a 16GB version and $379 for an 8GB variant, available from April 16. The RTX 5060 graphics cards will be available in May for $299.
Graphics models will be offered through various manufacturers, including ASUS, Colorful, Gainward, GALAX, GIGABYTE, INNO3D, KFA2, MSI, Palit, PNY, and ZOTAC, as well as system builders such as Falcon Northwest, Infiniarc, MAINGEAR, Mifcom, ORIGIN PC, PC Specialist, and Scan Computers.
