NinjaOne has announced $500 million in Series C extensions, bringing its valuation to $5 billion. This funding round, led by ICONIQ Growth and CapitalG, aims to enhance research and development in automated endpoint management. Additionally, it will support the company's plans to acquire Dropsuite, a SaaS backup and data protection provider.
The company operates without debt and remains under the control of its co-founders, Sal Sferlazza and Chris Matarese, who hold significant equity and board majority. NinjaOne serves over 24,000 customers, including firms like Nvidia, Lyft, and Porsche, and has made strides in the past year by announcing the intent to acquire Dropsuite for $262 million, being recognized in Gartner's Market Guide for Endpoint Management Tools, and launching various product releases.
CEO Sal Sferlazza emphasized the company's focus on making endpoint management simple and autonomous. He stated, “Endpoints are the backbone of organizations today, and we believe... providing products that support the user and their devices will be critical to making our customers successful.”
Roy Luo, General Partner at ICONIQ Growth, noted the importance of customer-centric decisions made by the company, while Derek Zanutto from CapitalG highlighted NinjaOne's potential for long-term success in the IT software sector. The company is currently hiring across various departments.
