Netskope has unveiled advancements to its NewEdge infrastructure, aimed at enhancing the Netskope One platform's capabilities. The updates allow for improved security and performance, as NewEdge surpasses 75 regions globally. Key features include AI-driven network diagnostics and real-time user experience analysis, which are designed to bolster performance while ensuring robust security measures are in place.
The expansion involves new data center regions in locations such as Calgary, Helsinki, Lisbon, and Prague, alongside growth within existing regions like Bogota, Jeddah, Osaka, and New York City. The infrastructure aims to support critical security and networking services tailored to the needs of enterprises.
According to IDC Research Manager Pete Finalle, architecture plays a vital role in ensuring customers can rely on both effective security measures and high network performance. Joe DePalo, Netskope's Chief Platform Officer, emphasized that the NewEdge platform enables seamless integration of security and performance, offering an experience comparable to direct-to-net access for users globally.
