Netskope expanded its Deloitte partnership with a managed secure access service edge (SASE) service.

Under the new arrangement, Deloitte’s global cybersecurity operations framework and advisory services are combined with Netskope’s SASE and security service edge (SSE) capabilities.

The pair’s announcement pointed to Gartner projections that the global SASE market will reach $28.5 billion by 2028, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 26%. According to the research powerhouse, this push stems from modern cloud and AI adoption requirements driving organizations to upgrade their security and networking capabilities.

Managed SASE services from Deloitte and Netskope will first be available in the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, with others to follow. The venture follows a recent tie up between Netskope and Telefónica Tech, the British system integrator arm of Spanish telecom operator Telefónica. According to Colette Kitterhing, Netskope’s VP for the United Kingdom and Ireland (UKI), that partnership highlighted the growing demand for SASE/SSE managed services, with such partnerships “a focal point for Netskope both globally and in the U.K.”

The Deloitte deal cements that vision, with Amit Srirastav, SVP for strategy, global systems integrators, and managed security service providers at Netskope, highlighting Deloitte’s international footprint as positioning the firm “strongly to help organizations modernize security operations and securely adopt cloud and AI with consistent standards across regions.”

“Our strengthened collaboration with Netskope enables us to deliver a comprehensive managed SASE service that meets these evolving challenges and provides clients with the confidence to innovate securely,” Deloitte Partner Luis Silva Abreu added.

Netskope recently rolled out its Netskope One AgentSkope framework designed to deploy and manage AI agents that can automate tasks across security and networking workflows. The service was said to standardize security, privacy, and governance controls while allowing enterprises to build and run agents that execute end-to-end workflows.

This year has also seen Netskope expand its private cloud footprint with AI Fast Path, a suite of tools designed to optimize network paths for AI applications.

Netskope previously updated its Universal Zero Trust Network Access (UZTNA) platform in a bid to wean enterprises off of VPNs and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). That solution utilized its 5G Netskope One Gateway, which unifies networking and security capabilities by replacing legacy point appliances with on-demand SASE services for "app store-like ease of operations."
