NetApp has announced a multi-year partnership with the San Francisco 49ers, becoming the Official Intelligent Data Infrastructure Partner. This partnership, which positions NetApp as a founding level partner, aims to enhance business operations and fan experiences at Levi's Stadium.

As both organizations are rooted in Silicon Valley, they plan to introduce significant technological advancements to create a seamless experience for fans. This includes improvements in crowd management, mobile app features, and overall facility efficiency. NetApp's solutions, such as the Keystone storage-as-a-service offering, will play a key role in these efforts.

“NetApp will empower us to make major changes that will bring the building into the forefront of technology-focused sports and entertainment venues,” said Costa Kladianos, 49ers EVP and Head of Technology.

Additionally, NetApp will sponsor the 2025 NFL Draft and the Horizon Summit, a strategy, data, and analytics conference, slated for June 2025. This sponsorship reinforces NetApp’s commitment to innovation in sports technology.

CEO George Kurian highlighted that NetApp’s engagement with the 49ers reflects its dedication to enhancing fan experiences and creating a solid technological foundation for the franchise's future endeavors.
