Net at Work acquired IT services firm AppSolute Consulting Group.

The acquisition sees AppSolute’s managed services practice join Net at Work to help create a technology solution platform for small and mid-sized companies, which already covers software selection, implementation, and secure hosting services. No financial details were disclosed.

AppSolute co-founders Bruce Baron and David Hoffman will join Net at Work, with the former becoming the director of small and mid-size business (SMB) solutions.

“By joining forces, we can offer AppSolute clients, who have come to expect white-glove service from knowledgeable, trusted IT professionals, an opportunity to move forward with the same level of continued care from familiar team members,” Net at Work co-founder Alex Solomon noted in a statement. “In addition, they will gain access to Net at Work's broader solutions portfolio and the strength of a larger team to help them achieve their business goals faster."

Baron and Hoffman founded AppSolute around the turn of the century, providing technology advisory services for smaller businesses.

The pair, along with AppSolute's employees and consultants, join a technology advisory and solution providers founded in 1996. Among its portfolio are network access and security solutions from partners like Cisco, Citrix, and VMware.

“It is important to us that our clients and employees end up where their experience will be as personalized as it has been, while being enhanced with more resources and opportunities for growth,” Baron said.
