Mimecast has achieved ISO 42001 certification, marking a significant milestone as the world’s first AI Management Systems (AIMS) standard. This international standard provides a comprehensive framework for managing AI risks and opportunities across the entire AI lifecycle.

This certification reinforces our mission to build trustworthy, secure, human-centered solutions that help customers navigate an ever-changing digital landscape.”
The certification enhances trust in AI-driven solutions, improves risk management capabilities, and boosts confidence in compliance and ethical AI practices. Mimecast’s existing credentials include ISO 27001 for Information Security, ISO 27701 for Privacy Information, and ISO 22301 for Business Continuity.
To uphold its commitment to ethical AI practices, Mimecast has established a Responsible AI Council, which is responsible for governance and fostering transparency in AI applications throughout the company.
