Matrixx Software is the latest third-party vendor to dive into Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s GreenLake platform. The company will offer its Matrixx Digital Commerce platform to communications service providers via HPE’s cloud-services platform.

The platform is a cloud-native, real-time converged charging and commerce platform with service provider customers including Dish Network, Swisscom, Orange, and Three. The software provider says these operators use Matrixx’s platform to develop new 5G business models and services for their customers. Matrixx also offers its service provider software via IBM Cloud for Telecommunications.

By combining Matrixx with HPE GreenLake, service providers benefit from the scalability and economics of public cloud with the security and performance of on-premises infrastructure, the partners say.

HPE provides several cloud services via GreenLake including compute, container management, data protection, machine learning operations, networking, storage, and virtual desktop infrastructure. The consumption-based portfolio has more than $4 billion in total contract value, over 700 partners selling HPE GreenLake, and more than 1,000 customers across all industry sectors and sizes, according to HPE.

On the vendor’s most recent earnings call, CEO Antonio Neri said GreenLake orders grew at a record 82% year over year. “We believe this is faster than the overall growth of public cloud vendors, and it is a validation of our hybrid strategy and competitive differentiation.”

Neri previously said GreenLake is HPE’s fastest-growing business, and he has pledged to offer HPE’s entire portfolio via GreenLake by 2022.
