Lantronix Inc. has successfully acquired NetComm Wireless, enabling advancements in its Enterprise and Smart City IoT offerings. The $6.5 million deal will involve certain asset acquisitions and liability assumptions, effectively broadening Lantronix’s portfolio.
The acquisition aligns with Lantronix’s strategy to enhance its 5G capabilities and improve connectivity solutions vital for sectors reliant on robust infrastructure and asset monitoring. It positions the company to cater to blue-chip clients while tapping into new markets, particularly in Australia and New Zealand.

The newly integrated portfolio is designed for demanding environments, providing low-latency Ethernet-to-Cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity. These solutions are built for industries requiring dependable technological support and are expected to generate $6 million to $7 million in revenue for the calendar year 2024.
This development reinforces Lantronix’s commitment to competing in the evolving IoT landscape, enhancing its role in connectivity solutions across several high-growth industries.
