Kinetic Business has introduced Calix SmartBiz, branded as Business Ready Internet, to enhance productivity for small businesses in 18 states. This solution offers reliable connectivity, advanced network control, and robust cybersecurity, all while simplifying deployment and scalability.
Launched in collaboration with Calix, the SmartBiz solution integrates cloud management and features designed specifically for small business needs, from rapid deployment capabilities to effective network oversight. Kinetic Business aims to support local small businesses with dependable Wi-Fi and integrated security measures.
Art Nichols, chief technology officer at Kinetic Business, stated, “Today, we are proud to introduce Business Ready Internet—an all-in-one connectivity solution designed to boost productivity.” The initiative is part of a broader effort to tackle identified concerns among small business owners, which include the need for speed and reliability in their internet services.
According to Kinetic Business survey results, 36 percent of respondents prioritize internet speed, while 35 percent identify reliability as critical. Additionally, cybersecurity threats are a substantial concern for 60 percent of small businesses, leading Kinetic to enhance SmartBiz’s security offerings with improved protection features.
Calix has also contributed to the rapid deployment of SmartBiz through the Smart Start program, enabling Kinetic Business to launch within six months. With a focus on competitive positioning in the digital economy, Kinetic Business emphasizes that the solution addresses small business needs directly, thereby promoting operational efficiency.
