Keysight Technologies has entered into an agreement with VIAVI Solutions for the sale of Spirent’s high-speed ethernet and network security business lines. This sale is contingent on the successful completion of Keysight's acquisition of Spirent, which is anticipated to take place shortly after the acquisition is finalized.

The completion of this sale depends on standard conditions, including regulatory approvals. Keysight expects the acquisition to be effective in the first half of its current fiscal year, ending April 30, 2025. The company is committed to working with relevant regulatory authorities to expedite the process.

On October 7, 2024, Keysight and Spirent amended a non-disclosure agreement regarding the acquisition. The updated agreement will be made available on both companies' websites.
