Keysight Technologies has unveiled its N99xxD-Series, a handheld analyzer designed to capture wideband signals without data loss.
The D-Series FieldFox analyser offers 120 MHz of gap-free IQ streaming to allow engineers to record real-world signal scenarios and replay them for further analysis.
Capable of supporting 10 GbE for data transfers, radio frequency engineers can use the analyzer to capture transient events and identify interference in demanding field conditions. According to Keysight, the device achieves 0.1 decibel (dB) absolute amplitude accuracy without warm-up, which it claims surpasses rival benchtop analyzers used in lab environments.
The D-series spams some 14 models covering frequencies up to 54 GHz, with support for more than 25 software-defined applications, including vector network analysis, spectrum analysis, and noise figure measurement. A Linux-based OS offers users enhanced security and file management.
The FieldFox platform also features integrated AI capabilities, including a machine learning model capable of automatically classifying wireless standards, including LTE, 5G NR, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, reducing analysis time in congested spectrum environments.

"Its software-defined architecture lets users add new capabilities onsite, giving them flexibility to move faster and be ‘first-to-market.'"
