Keysight Technologies, Inc. has announced its membership in the Intel Foundry Accelerator United States Military, Aerospace and Government (USMAG) Alliance. This collaboration aims to enhance electronic design automation tools for Intel’s Foundry process technologies, specifically targeting military, aerospace, and government applications.

The move builds upon Keysight’s long history of offering solutions to the U.S. government and defense contractors, providing tools critical to mission readiness and national security. Keysight’s offerings include custom electronics design automation (EDA) software, integrated test solutions, and manufacturing automation, among others.

The USMAG Alliance is part of Intel Foundry’s initiative to support the U.S. Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and ensure EDA tools are optimized to fulfill secure design methodologies. Suk Lee, Vice President & General Manager of Ecosystem Technology Office at Intel Foundry, emphasized the importance of such collaborations to provide industry-leading technology and foster domestic manufacturing.

Niels Faché, Vice President and General Manager of Keysight’s Design Engineering Software, indicated that this alliance marks a significant commitment to advancing secure technologies for national defense. Keysight aims to ensure that its EDA tools align with the requirements of Intel Foundry’s process design kits, enhancing efficiency and security in military and government projects.
