Keysight Technologies is participating in two new projects to enhance the research and innovation landscape for 6G technology in Europe. These initiatives are part of the 6G Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS-JU), which is co-funded by the European Union.

Keysight collaborates with various stakeholders, including service providers and universities, focusing on advancing AI and sustainability in wireless technology development. The projects aim to facilitate the deployment of next-generation wireless technologies while minimizing environmental impact through AI-driven management systems.

The two projects, UNITY-6G and 6G-VERSUS, seek to create AI-native architectures that integrate different network domains and optimize data across several industries, respectively. Both projects will operate for three years and align with ongoing Keysight contributions to existing European 6G projects.

Keysight's participation in these initiatives will leverage its design and testing expertise to develop prototypes and testbeds for advanced communication systems. Giampaolo Tardioli, Vice President at Keysight, highlighted the company's commitment to fostering collaboration and research to address complexity in technology development and promote energy-efficient solutions.
