Keysight Technologies has expanded its Automotive Ethernet Rx Compliance Solution to support MultiGBASE-T1 receiver tests. This enhanced solution includes new Receiver Test compliance software and a Noise Injection Fixture designed to meet the demands of next-generation automotive in-vehicle networks.

The MultiGBASE-T1 data rates are crucial for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) that rely on high-resolution camera and radar capabilities. This expansion addresses the growing need for high-bandwidth networking within vehicles, conforming to IEEE 802.3ch and Open Alliance TC15 standards. The solution aims to improve validation processes for device and system performance, offering new automation tools for testing.

Keysight's Receiver Test Compliance Solution equips automakers with necessary hardware and software for testing next-generation devices. It helps assess receiver performance in challenging automotive conditions and ensures compliance with relevant standards. This initiative was developed alongside BitifEye and Wilder Technologies.

Julien Henaut, Chief Technology Officer at BitifEye, stated: “We are excited to collaborate with Keysight to deliver a new way for the industry to validate receiver devices utilizing IEEE 802.3. Our customers will benefit from testing solutions that enable device makers of new automotive in-vehicle networks to become global standards for automotive high-speed data transmission.”

Thomas Goetzl, Vice President and General Manager at Keysight, noted: “As a key provider in automotive in-vehicle network design and test solutions, Keysight expands our offering to support receiver tests for IEEE 802.3ch designs. This will support quicker deployment of automotive network technologies.”
