IP Infusion has partnered with UfiSpace and Fujitsu to support the Open Networking Innovation Center located in Düsseldorf, Germany. Scheduled to launch in December 2024, this center aims to promote advancements in open networking technologies while facilitating collaboration among different vendors.

As part of this initiative, IP Infusion will exhibit its expertise in Open RAN xHaul and IP over Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) (IPoDWDM) solutions. OcNOS, IP Infusion’s primary network operating system, will be showcased running on UfiSpace’s platforms, which feature advanced 400G Open ZR+ coherent pluggables and integrated systems.

Fujitsu’s center will provide a space for service providers and technology vendors to conduct thorough testing of multi-vendor interoperability and validate the capabilities of All-Photonic Networks (APN). “This collaboration with Fujitsu is a significant step forward for IP Infusion,” said Atsushi Ogata, President and CEO of IP Infusion, emphasizing the shared commitment to energy-efficient solutions.

Fujitsu underscored its vision for a sustainable future through open networking technologies. Shingo Mizuno, Fujitsu's President and CEO, noted that welcoming IP Infusion and UfiSpace exemplifies the effectiveness of global cooperation in advancing network innovations.

UfiSpace’s CEO, Vincent Ho, highlighted the importance of a collaborative approach, indicating that joint efforts with Fujitsu and IP Infusion will facilitate the adoption of new network structures.
