Huawei has been named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Center Switching, recognized for its advancements in technology. The company is positioned furthest in the category of “Completeness of Vision.”

To enhance its data center network, Huawei will focus on three areas: the upgraded Xinghe Intelligent Fabric Solution, new CloudEngine Series Switches, and StarryLink Optical Modules.

The Xinghe Intelligent Fabric Solution features a three-layer architecture: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Brain, AI Connection, and AI NEs. The AI Brain utilizes Huawei's exclusive digital network map and large model to enhance operational efficiency, resolving 80% of faults automatically. The AI Connection employs a network scale load balancing algorithm to improve performance and increase AI training efficiency by over 10% while ensuring reliability. AI NEs combine CloudEngine switches and optical modules for precise monitoring of network performance.

Huawei's new CloudEngine Series includes a 128*800GE Ethernet switch and a 128*400GE liquid-cooled switch, enhancing scalability for AI clusters. The proprietary iFlashboot technology supports continuous training amid irregular restarts.

At Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, Huawei showcased StarryLink optical modules featuring superior signal management and security measures, including integrated encryption capabilities that protect data in transit.

Looking ahead, Huawei aims to continue its technical research and product innovation in the data center network sector. By expanding its CloudEngine switch portfolio, the company is set to support enterprises through evolving network technologies and their data transformation initiatives.
