WiFi and virtual CPE (vCPE) carrier Benu Networks hired Mads Lillelund as its CEO. Lillelund plans to help Benu expand its customer base with its Virtual Service Edge (VSE) technology.

Prior to Benu, Lillelund served as CEO of wireless provider BlueSocket, which was acquired by Adtran in 2011. He then served as VP and general manager of Bluesocket Business Group for more than four years.

Lillelund is also a board member and venture capital advisor to several tech firms including SaltDNA and Conjur.

Concur CEO and executive board member of SAP Steve Singh was appointed to Docker’s board of directors. Singh also leads the SAP Business Networks & Applications Group, which brings together teams from Ariba, Fieldglass, Concur, and SAP Health.

A number of businesses within SAP use Docker so Singh's addition to the board was not a surprise.

Singh will work on Docker’s open source projects as well as its commercial product, the Docker Datacenter (DDC).

Nuix appointed Ethan Treese as CEO of its Americas business. Treese will replace Dr. Jim Kent who was both CEO and global head of security and intelligence with Nuix. The change is meant to let Kent focus on the latter.

Prior to Nuix, Treese served in a variety of leadership and business development roles with credit analytics provider Dun & Bradstreet. He has experience in growing key clients and industries including technology, telecommunications, retail, transportation, manufacturing, insurance, and the public sector.

Software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider, FXP appointed Mark Bartlett as chief experience officer to help grow FXP customers.

Security company Symantec has appointed former Blue Coat CFO Nick Noviello as its executive vice president and CFO. Noviello is replacing Thomas Seifert who will continue to serve in an advisory capacity until March 2017 to help smooth the transition of responsibilities.

Houston, Texas-based RigNet  appointed Jay T. Hilbert as its chief sales officer. Hilbert will be responsible for the global sales organization and worldwide sales efforts.

Allot Communications announced that its board of directors elected Yigal Jacoby as its new chairman. Jacoby co-founded Allot in 1996 and served as CEO until 2006. Allot also appointed Alberto Sessa as its new CFO. Sessa will replace Allot’s current CFO, Shmuel Arvatz, who left to become the CFO of private company.

Infrastructure software company TmaxSoft appointed Joshua Yulish as its new global CEO to help the company expand. He previously was in charge of boosting the company’s presence in America.

FireEye announced that former Symantec and Nuance communications executive Bill Robbins joined the company as executive vice president of worldwide sales.

Puppet appointed Mark Iserloth as its CFO where he will oversee finance and business operations as well as help with international expansion. Prior to Puppet, Iserloth was CFO at Stats.

Manuel Rivelo has been appointed to Procera Networks’ board of directors where he will be responsible for driving Procera’s overall strategy and operations. Rivelo is currently the CEO of infrastructure automation vendor AppViewX and has held leadership roles at F5 Networks and Cisco.

Big Switch Networks appointed Julian Demurijan as its new head of sales where he’ll lead the company’s expansion into the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. The company also added Susheel Chitre as its new VP of business development.

GE appointed former Google vice president of engineering, Patrick Franklin, as its vice president of applications. It also hired Steve Martin, who was chief data scientist at Microsoft Azure, as the chief digital officer of GE Energy Connections.
