Chris Kozup Returns to Aruba Networks as CMO

Chris Kozup left his position as SVP of global marketing at Nutanix and returned to Aruba Networks as the company’s CMO. Kozup replaces Janice Le, who is currently serving as SVP of global marketing for Palo Alto Networks.

Aruba is a familiar home to Kozup who served as the company's VP of marketing mobility and IoT, as well as field marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) prior to his departure for Nutanix.

Prior to Nutanix and Aruba, Kozup served as Cisco's director of marketing for its Mobility and Access Switching portfolio. He also served as program director for the META Group, an analyst firm that was acquired by Gartner Research.

Mike Sicoli Bids Farewell to GTT

Cloud networking provider GTT announced CFO Mike Sicoli’s departure from the company for a more senior role with edge and cloud solutions provider Internap as president and CFO. The move is effective October 1. Don Fraser will sit in as the interim CFO at GTT.

In his new role at Internap, Sicoli will oversee all finance and accounting operations, corporate development, investor relations, information technology, and real estate.

Prior to joining GTT in April 2015, Sicoli served as principal of MTS Advisors, a consulting and advisory services firm he founded in 2013.

Headcount: Movers and Shakers

Cloud data integration and data integrity provider Talend named Lauren Vaccarello as CMO. Vaccarello will direct the company’s marketing organization and spearhead its branding efforts.

Ripcord appointed Wasim Khan as its chief digital officer (CDO).

VOGSY named Leslie Camacho VP of customer success. Camacho previously worked as CCO at Pixel and Tonic.

CableLabs announced Mariam Sorond as chief R&D officer. In her new role Sorond will lead R&D, directing the execution and adoption of new technologies for CableLabs.

Sharma Upadhyayula joined the Aura executive leadership team where he will lead product and engineering for the Identity Guard brand as head of product and engineering.

Digital software engineering provider Exadel named Igor Landes as CTO and Mikhail Andrushkevich as VP of delivery.

Former Palo Alto Networks Chairman and CEO Mark McLaughlin replaced Jeff Henderson as Qualcomm’s chairman of the board.

End-to-end cloud-native network software provider Mavenir announced Aniruddho (Ani) Basu as SVP and GM of emerging business.

Kimberly Hammonds was appointed to the Segment board of directors. Hammonds previously served as COO and a member of the management board at Deutsche Bank.

Segment also named Joe Morrissey named its chief revenue officer (CRO) and Ben Galbraith VP of product. Galbraith previously led product management for Google Chrome's platform team.

Cloud-to-cloud backup and recovery vendor OwnBackup announced Adrian Kunzle as head of product and strategy.

Michael Anderson joined Stateless as VP of marketing. Anderson previously served as VP of marketing at Flexential.

Ping Identity named Kevin Sellers as CMO where he will spearhead the company’s marketing functions, concentrating on expansion in the enterprise market.

Grant Halloran was announced as CEO of Host Analytic. Ron Baden, who has served as interim CEO, resumed his role as CRO.

Bill Stasior joined Microsoft as corporate VP of technology. Stasior previously worked at Apple overseeing its Siri digital assistant.

Chris James was appointed CEO of Scaled Agile. He joined the company in 2015 as president and COO.

Extreme Networks expanded its board of directors with the addition of Ingrid Burton.

Billy Bosworth joined Dremio’s board of directors. Bosworth is CEO of DataStax and on the board of Tableau.

Exclusive Networks named Vanessa Delrieu VP of finance and operations for North America.

SD-WAN  provider Aryaka appointed Christiana Khostovan General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Khostovan previously served as general counsel and corporate secretary for Revel Systems.

Qualitest welcomed ex-Amdocs GM Yoav Ziv to its executive leadership team in his new role as CTO.

Cyber exposure platform provider Tenable announced the appointment of Matthew Olton as SVP of corporate development and strategy.

Nokia welcomed Gabriela Styf Sjöman a new member of its group leadership team. Sjöman will also serve as CSO, replacing Kathrin Buvac, who will continue on as president of Nokia Enterprise and member of the group leadership team.

Ericsson promoted Fadi Pharaon to SVP and head of its Middle East and Africa markets.

Sysdig welcomed Kubernetes expert Kris Nova as chief open source advocate to lead the the cloud-native visibility and security company’s open source team.

Paul Barboza joined IOMAXIS as COO. Prior to IOMAXIS, Barboza served as the director of business development for AT&T's government public sector business.

Databricks announced Amy Reichanadter as chief people officer. Reichanadter previously served as chief people officer for Adaptive Insights.
