Globalstar, Inc. has formed a collaboration agreement with Hawk Networks to enhance access to its Band 53 spectrum. This partnership aims to simplify the procurement process for operators, enabling easier access to licensed spectrum bundled with core network components and essential infrastructure.

Deborah Simpier, CEO of Hawk Networks, stated, “For the first time, operators can bypass the complexity of legacy methods and secure spectrum with ease. This is not just another spectrum announcement–it is a pivotal shift that makes spectrum available when you need it and where you need it, accelerating both deployment and innovation in the telecom industry.” The streamlined approach will empower network operators to enhance connectivity, particularly in the modern machine economy.

Globalstar’s Band 53 is available in the U.S. and eleven other countries, offering flexible leases for applications including broadband services, autonomous vehicles, and IoT systems. Kyle Pickens, VP of Strategy at Globalstar, highlighted its unique capabilities to solve connectivity challenges for private wireless networks.

Additionally, Hawk Networks integrates tools like its Althea Core, an advanced LTE/5G solution, which complements the spectrum offering. Simpier remarked on the convenience created by adding Band 53 to the mix, ensuring that operators can develop tailored network solutions efficiently.

Operators interested in leveraging Band 53 can pursue access through Hawk Networks by filling out an inquiry form. This initiative represents an effort to provide the tools necessary for building high-performing, reliable networks that keep pace with future connectivity demands.
