Global Capacity will begin offering managed software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN) services powered by  VeloCloud's technology. The managed SD-WAN service will be part of Global Capacity's strategy to expand its enterprise networking portfolio with software-defined services.

Global Capacity’s SD-WAN services will give enterprise customers the ability to route data across their WAN by choosing the proper access types based on the needs of individual locations and applications. It also will let customers define specific network policies to prioritize certain traffic and make better use of their bandwidth.

Global Capacity’s One Marketplace platform lets customers connect to various cloud providers and VeloCloud will help manage those connections.

Global Capacity will begin selling its managed SD-WAN services by the end of the second quarter.

VeloCloud recently announced that it's also powering Windstream's managed SD-WAN service.
