New integrations within Druva’s security ecosystem have been launched, enhancing its security information and event management (SIEM) capabilities to improve threat remediation. The company has rolled out collaborations with Palo Alto Networks, Splunk, and Sumo Logic, allowing backup data telemetry to be integrated directly into existing security operations tools.

These integrations aim to bolster incident response workflows for IT and security teams by providing insights drawn from backup data. This development comes in light of the increasing trend where nearly every ransomware attack in the past year targeted backup resources, revealing the importance of bridging the gap between traditional backup solutions and active security management frameworks.
