Domo has launched Agent Catalyst, an addition to Domo Artificial Intelligence (AI), unveiled at Domopalooza 2025. This new offering enables businesses to develop autonomous AI agents that can analyze and manage entire business processes independently, streamlining workflows while ensuring governance and security.

According to Josh James, founder and CEO of Domo, “Domo Agent Catalyst makes this AI revolution real and actionable for businesses of all sizes.” These AI agents, unlike traditional assistants which require human input, utilize large language model (LLM) to adapt autonomously to various business situations.

Agent Catalyst addresses challenges businesses face due to data overload and inefficiencies. It equips users with tools to create intelligent AI agents, enhancing decision-making with context-aware data and proactive actions.

The agentic framework of Agent Catalyst allows an organized development process for users creating their AI agents, supported by new AI enhancements, including DomoGPT for secure language processing, FileSets for unstructured data management, and a Semantic Layer for understanding data relationships.

Patrick Buell, Chief Innovation Officer at Hakkoda, expressed that the low-code, no-code capabilities of Agent Catalyst enable rapid deployment of AI-driven solutions, enhancing customer capabilities without heavy development resources.

The Domo platform is being expanded with new AI features, including Text Generation Tiles for data transformation, AI Agent Tasks for complex workflows, and automated insights for business metrics analysis.
