Code42 Partners With Data Security Company Nullafi — Code42 announced a partnership with data security software company Nullafi. The Code42 Incydr product and Nullafi Shield collaboration sets to restrict access to regulated and sensitive data that may be exposed accidentally or maliciously by company employees. 

Code42 Incydr is an insider risk management (IRM) tool for security teams to detect and respond to data exposure. Nullafi Shield is a zero-trust data security solution that provides security teams with data access controls to monitor user visibility across apps. 

The partnership aims to limit personally identified information (PII) — regulated and sensitive data visible to teams and employees — to better protect organizations from “data theft, leakage, inadvertent access, and improper downloading by departing employees and other high-risk users.” 

“Today, nearly three-quarters of organizations don’t know what data departing employees take to other companies when they leave,” said Ananth Appathurai, SVP of strategic partnerships and ecosystem for Code42. “Because all data is important, it’s critical that IRM solutions ensure IP as well as regulated data, like PII and other sensitive business data, is not misused, leaked, or stolen by employees and insiders.”

CAST AI now Available on Google Cloud Marketplace — CAST AI, a cloud cost-management platform powered by artificial intelligence (AI), analyzes data points in order to find an optimal cost-performance ratio for users with Kubernetes workloads.

According to a survey performed by CAST AI, 98% of organizations using the platform had “some noticeable cost-saving opportunities.” In addition, the company claims the platform can help eliminate signing new contracts with CAST AI’s integration and also provides cost insights, helps rebalance cloud-native infrastructure, and optimizes cost structure with Kubernetes-specific tools.
