Confluent has established a partnership with Jio Platforms Limited to offer its data streaming platform on Jio Cloud Services. This collaboration aims to enhance digital capabilities and enable businesses in India to leverage real-time data for various applications, including artificial intelligence.
The agreement positions Confluent as the first data streaming platform available on Jio's cloud services, facilitating easier access for businesses across the country. With this initiative, the Confluent Platform will be offered as a managed service to both public and private sectors, emphasizing enterprise-grade security and governance.
Kiran Thomas, President and CEO of Jio Platforms, highlighted the growing importance of data streaming for businesses to stay competitive in today’s market. He expressed enthusiasm about partnering with Confluent to equip customers with intelligent real-time capabilities.
According to the 2024 Data Streaming Report, a majority of IT leaders in India recognize the potential of data streaming platforms to accelerate product launches and foster innovation in AI development. Erica Schultz, President of Field Operations at Confluent, noted that this partnership will enable organizations to fully harness real-time data, improving service delivery and supporting India's digital advancement.
