Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced it has been awarded multiple sole source follow-on contracts from L3Harris valued in excess of $26 million. These contracts support the delivery of modem technologies for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army's Anti-Jam Modem (A3M), which aim to enhance secure satellite communications capabilities for military operations.

Under the agreements, Comtech will provide modem technologies to be integrated into A3M, which are designed for robust, secure, and software-defined anti-jam SATCOM capabilities. “These strategic awards further establish Comtech as a provider of A3M technologies that will support protected U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army SATCOM programs,” said Ken Traub, President and CEO of Comtech.

Daniel Gizinski, President of Comtech’s Satellite & Space Communication Segment, noted that “these awards demonstrate the unique value of our modem technologies and the trust of our DoD partners.” A3M technologies utilize advanced protected tactical waveforms and meet U.S. Government standards. The systems also support a variety of satellite operations, including Protected Anti-jam Tactical Satellites.

Comtech’s defense solutions are positioned to enhance Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control operations. The company has a history of providing interoperable and resilient communication systems for U.S. military forces and coalition partners.
