CompTIA has unveiled a new certification, CloudNetX, aimed at assisting IT professionals in navigating modern enterprise networks. This certification is designed for seasoned network architects to validate their skills in designing and integrating secure, scalable networking solutions in hybrid environments.

Katie Hoenicke, senior vice president of product development at CompTIA, noted the increasing demand for skilled network architects as organizations move towards hybrid cloud solutions. “For seasoned network professionals, CompTIA CloudNetX can help enhance and validate the advanced skills needed to excel in these complex environments,” she stated.

CloudNetX, part of CompTIA's Xpert Series, offers a vendor-neutral certification, which is particularly important for IT professionals working in hybrid infrastructures with products from different vendors. The certification exam evaluates practical skills in areas including emerging technologies like container networking and AI for automation, as well as network security practices.

Designed for IT specialists with at least five years in roles such as systems architect or network architect, the certification also comes with two new learning resources. CertMaster Perform CloudNetX provides comprehensive eLearning with instructional lessons and live labs, while CertMaster Labs CloudNetX offers hands-on practice in a browser-based environment. Both resources align with the certification exam objectives.
