Celonis has appointed Dave Hitt as Regional VP for Middle East and Africa (MEA). Hitt, who has over 30 years of sales leadership experience, will focus on enhancing the adoption of Process Intelligence across key industries in the region, including energy, mining, financial services, and the public sector.
The MEA market presents significant growth opportunities for Celonis, particularly as governments in countries like Saudi Arabia and UAE invest in digital transformation initiatives. These efforts aim to drive operational excellence and improve citizen services.
“Both Saudi Arabia and the UAE are making substantial investments to modernize their public sectors,” Hitt stated. He emphasized that Celonis can enhance these transformations by providing insights that improve efficiency and service delivery.
In addition to the public sector, there is potential for Celonis' technology in various sectors, including telecommunications and transportation. The company has achieved success in South Africa, where its solutions have helped optimize operations in the financial services sector, such as managing payment processes for large banks.
Celonis is establishing a presence in Dubai, focusing on sales, solutions engineering, and partner management, marking a significant step in its regional expansion strategy.
Rupal Karia, GM for Celonis in the UK&I and MEA, expressed confidence in Hitt's ability to drive enterprise adoption of technology in the region.
