Boldyn Networks has announced its acquisition of Smart Mobile Labs, marking its first foray into the German market and solidifying its global leadership in mobile private networks. This strategic move is expected to enhance Boldyn's presence across Europe, where Smart Mobile Labs has successfully implemented over 110 mobile private network projects.

Justin Berger, Group Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Boldyn Networks, remarked on the attractiveness of Germany for mobile private networks and expressed confidence that Smart Mobile Labs' expertise would enhance their offerings, particularly across Europe. He noted, “The SML leadership team comes with a combined 100 years of experience in engineering and technology, adding to our talented team at Boldyn.”

Igor Leprince, Group Chief Executive Officer at Boldyn, highlighted the significance of this acquisition in expanding their capabilities. He stated, “As an important player in the fast-rising private network ecosystem, Smart Mobile Labs will support our expansion in the top five markets in Europe and globally.”

Klaus Nagora, CEO and Founder of Smart Mobile Labs, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating that combining efforts with Boldyn would allow their private network solutions to scale not just in Germany but across the world. He emphasized that both organizations share a focus on meeting customer needs with innovative solutions.

Rüdiger Hnyk, COO of Smart Mobile Labs, predicted that the two companies would become significant players in the European private 5G market, capable of providing diverse industry solutions ranging from logistics to autonomous technology. “Our joint capabilities will be best suited to cover the growing demands of a variety of sectors successfully,” he said.
