AT&T Business’ channel chief has jumped ship to technology services distributor Avant Communications.
Jush Danielson had spent more than 24 years at the carrier giant, but “retired” from the brand in August.
Avant confirmed the exec has moved across to serve as chief partner experience officer, a role that would see Danielson oversee offerings supplied to its network of advisor partners. Her role is a new one for the channel firm, with Avant saying it plans to “keep investing in the experience, expertise, and support” to help its network of consultants and service providers succeed.
“Jush will work alongside our teams to make partnering with Avant even more valuable: strengthening collaboration, simplifying the partner experience, and helping advisors spend more time serving customers and growing their businesses,” a company LinkedIn post reads. “Her channel experience and people-first leadership make her an exciting addition to our team, and we couldn’t be more enthusiastic about what’s ahead.”
Danielson joined AT&T back in 2002 as a sales director, working her way across a variety of roles spanning sales, marketing, and operations. She would eventually find herself in the channel space where, in her own words, it “turned out to be the best professional chapter of my life.”
In 2024, Danielson became channel chief for its indirect sales programs, AT&T Alliance Channel and ACC Business covering enterprise technology. During her time, AT&T would revamp its enterprise go-to-market strategy to lean more on channel partners in a bid to extend its reach into tertiary markets.
Upon departing the carrier giant earlier this year, Danielson said: “The Channel challenged me. It pushed me to work alongside the brightest, most innovative people in our industry, and it taught me more than I ever expected. What an experience!
“To every team I’ve been part of, and every team I’ve had the honor of leading – thank you. You are what I will remember. Not the titles, not the deals, not the org charts. You. The people who showed up, who worked hard beside me, who became so much more [than] coworkers, they became lifelong friends. That’s the whole story.”
