Arrow Electronics has been named a VMware Cloud Commerce Manager for the VMware Cloud Service Provider program in North America. The agreement allows VCSP partners in the U.S. and Canada to access VMware Cloud Foundation through Arrow.
“We are honored to become a Cloud Commerce Manager provider and help further empower MSPs in the ever-changing landscape,” said Shannon McWilliams, vice president of cloud and AI services for Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business in North America. McWilliams emphasized that Arrow's knowledge of cloud management using its ArrowSphere platform will provide a consistent experience for VMware partners.
The VCSP Program focuses on VMware Cloud Foundation, the company's private cloud platform, which delivers public cloud scale with enhanced security, resilience, and cost efficiency. It supports digital innovation by modernizing infrastructure and improving platform security.
Ahmar Mohammad, vice president at VMware, stated that Cloud Commerce Managers like Arrow enhance the scalability of the VMware Cloud Service Provider ecosystem. Arrow's expanded role in North America aims to provide VCSP partners with resources to drive efficiency and growth in the competitive cloud market.
As a Cloud Commerce Manager, Arrow will manage operations for partners, including order and billing processes. ArrowSphere will deliver VMware Cloud Foundation, allowing partners to gain access to training programs and certified resources to improve support services.
In addition, Arrow offers specialized services and technical support for VMware solutions, complementing Broadcom's support. Arrow now assists VCSP partners in the U.S., Canada, and 19 European countries.
