Arctic Wolf has entered a partnership with Immersive Labs as part of the Cyber Million program, aimed at tackling the global cybersecurity talent shortage. This initiative focuses on creating one million entry-level jobs in cybersecurity over the next decade.

Launched in June 2023, the Cyber Million program emphasizes real-world skills and assesses aptitude rather than relying solely on traditional metrics such as education or certifications. Interested individuals aged 16 and above can engage with hands-on exercises tailored to meet the requirements of available roles, including those newly listed by Arctic Wolf.

Arctic Wolf protects over 6,000 clients globally and processes more than 5.5 trillion security events weekly through its advanced platform, employing AI algorithms to streamline the flow of alerts into actionable insights.

Mark Manglicmot, Arctic Wolf’s senior vice president of Security Services, expressed enthusiasm about reducing barriers for job seekers and discovering untapped talent via skills-first hiring practices. This approach complements the company's overarching goal of mitigating cyber risks.

Kieran Rowley, director of Community for Immersive Labs, highlighted Arctic Wolf’s leadership in the cybersecurity field and the significant role the partnership plays in fulfilling critical cybersecurity positions.

The Cyber Million program continues to expand, welcoming various employment partners, including notable organizations like Accenture and BT. Additional companies interested in joining the initiative to create entry-level cybersecurity opportunities can find more information on Immersive Labs' website.
