Anomali has expanded its partnership with Consortium to enhance cybersecurity automation and risk reduction for enterprises. This move follows Consortium's acquisition of the cyber risk quantification startup, Metrics That Matter, which bolsters Consortium’s offerings to provide customers with data-driven insights that translate cyber risk into actionable intelligence.

The partnership aims to leverage Metrics That Matter’s framework to ensure cybersecurity investments lead to measurable outcomes. By integrating Anomali’s analytics and automation capabilities, the collaboration enhances the delivery of threat intelligence and risk-based security solutions, offering customers an efficient and scalable approach to cybersecurity.

The enhanced partnership includes several features for security teams, such as automated threat intelligence to generate actionable insights, advanced orchestration for security operations, and risk quantification combining both companies' strengths.

Anthony Aurigemma, CRO at Anomali, noted that the annual cost of cybercrime is projected to reach $10.5 trillion, emphasizing the need for effective cybersecurity strategies. He stated, “Through our expanded partnership with Consortium, we’re not just delivering better intelligence—we’re enabling security teams to proactively outmaneuver threats, reduce complexity, and turn cybersecurity investments into real, measurable impact.”

Consortium’s leadership, with a background in cybersecurity and experience scaling companies like Optiv, reinforces the partnership’s consultative and high-touch approach to security. CTO Andrew Barnett described the combined efforts as providing organizations with the ability to defend against sophisticated cyber threats.

The partnership supports customers across various sectors in streamlining threat detection, enhancing security automation, and facilitating data-driven risk decisions.
