Acronis has introduced Ultimate 365, a solution designed for managed service providers (MSPs) that integrates cybersecurity, backup, and compliance services within a unified platform. This new offering aims to simplify the management process for MSPs, allowing them to onboard clients rapidly and provide services without the inefficiencies associated with multiple tools.

Ultimate 365 includes features such as complete Microsoft 365 protection, an accelerated time to revenue, and efficient, scalable management capabilities. By consolidating several security functions—including extended detection and response, email security, and security awareness training—into a single platform, Acronis addresses the common issue of tool sprawl faced by MSPs.

Gerald Beuchelt, CISO at Acronis, highlighted the challenges MSPs encounter with complex security operations and the need for a straightforward, cost-effective solution to protect Microsoft 365 environments. The integration of essential services within Ultimate 365 seeks to reduce management workloads and improve profitability for MSPs.

Acronis states that the protective capabilities of Ultimate 365 will address the heightened vulnerabilities of Microsoft 365, a platform increasingly targeted by cyber threats. The service will also feature a flexible pricing model, aiming to adapt to the varying needs of MSPs and their clients.

The email archiving component of Ultimate 365 is currently in early access and is expected to be available generally by Q2 2025, while other tools are nearing deployment.
