Microsoft previewed Cloud Security Posture Management as part of Microsoft Defender for Cloud, its cloud-native application protection platform portfolio.
The suite’s capabilities include access to cloud-scale data, curated detections, and automated response to common security threats such as phishing and malware.

The new capability enables features like patch and update readiness, URL category filtering, antivirus and malware scanning, and user identification and control.
