Building a SASE requires expertise in networking and cloud-based security. Buying one can be prohibitively expensive, but that hasn't stopped some vendors from doing just that.

Cisco smashed SD-WAN, Kubernetes into CN-WAN; ZTE powered China Mobile's 5G core network; and Versa widened its SD-WAN net.

The project allows DevOps teams to tag the WAN needs of their Kubernetes-managed microservices clusters so they can be mapped to the SD-WAN controller.

Versa will supply the SD-WAN while Telesystem will provide operational support to the Telarus agent community.
