Zeotap believes that data resources held by mobile telecommunication companies have the potential to change entire industries. Still largely dormant, telco data can bring about a paradigm shift in advertising efficiency and mobile user experience, financial risk analysis and mobility identity, to name just a few.
Just one year from its foundation, Zeotap works with some of the world’s largest telecommunication companies to solve one of the biggest challenges of advertising by making their data safely accessible to the global advertising ecosystem. While mobile has been the strongest growing media channel for years, advertising budgets still lag far behind and users frequently wonder about the irrelevance of ads shown to them on their most personal device. This is due in large extent to the lack of real quality targeting data.
Zeotap’s Determium solution is here to change that and is the first time telco data across carriers is made available at scale and in real-time to agencies, advertisers and DSPs alike. Determium is fully privacy certified.
Zeotap was founded in 2014 by a group of telecommunications, mobile advertising and technology experts from Vodafone, IBM and Fyber (RNTS Media). It is backed by the Iris Capital, Capnamic, HitFox Group, as well as former executives from Deutsche Telekom, Nokia, Yahoo, McKinsey, GfK and AOL. Zeotap was the first German company to receive an investment via Angellist.Independent Software Vendor (ISV)
