Services from Metrofibre Networx
Metrofibre networx User Network Interface (UNI) is the physical 10/100/1000Mbps or 10Gbps Ethernet interface or port that is the demarcation between the customer and the service providers network.
The Performance and Service Availability monitoring for each of the Class of Service guarantees offered, will be monitored across the entire Metrofibre networx
Monitoring can be either between UNI to UNI for services that reside entirely on the Metrofibre networx (ON-NET), or between UNI to E-NNI (External Network Node Interface) for services that are provisioned Network-to-Network, between network clouds operated by one or more service providers.
Metrofibre networx is a “Carrier Class Open Access” Metro Ethernet Network that is “Open” to all Service Providers, to deliver content to their customers on equal terms and designed to provide a high-level of SLA based Performance Assurance, based on the MEF CE2.0 Services types.
