Flugel.it is a team of infrastructure developers who spread the word of the DevOps and DevOps’ toolstack. Flugel.it is also ardent supporters of OpenStack.
Flugel.it has more than twenty-five years of combined consulting experience in Open Source and Linux infrastructure, Luis Vinay and Diego Woitasen founded flugel.it, with the goal of applying that experience to help all sorts of companies (small, medium, large) enter into the DevOps culture, and participate in the new trend towards more interdisciplinary and cooperative environments.
Flugel’s experience in the IT world is in the infrastructure side. Its been providing consulting as system administrators (or sysadmins), and believe that their profession has definitely changed. It’s not possible to manage the infrastructure in the same way it was managed in the past. The new demands and dynamic nature of the business world, the new volumes of users and data are impossible to administer it in the traditional way. The new sysadmins require a new set of skills, and have become what Flugel.it loves to call: Infrastructure
Flugel.it can help with Automation, Orchestration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Improvement.
Some of the tools Flugel uses are: Chef, SaltStack, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, Python, Ruby, OpenStack, AWS, and more
