Starting with multi-line aggregated connectivity to increase bandwidth and decrease downtime, we pioneered software overlay technology, building on our ability to control data at the packet level, in order to dramatically improve customer end user experience of their connections.
We realised that through the power of software, we could continue to flex, develop and augment connectivity, so that users and businesses could get a step change in performance and reliability of their connections.
Much More Than Just Policy Based Routing
Our connectivity, whether its single site internet connectivity or multi-site SD-WAN, uses all the bandwidth of every circuit, while maintaining prioritisation for business-critical apps such as VoIP and RDP.
Rather than just sending individual sessions or types of data down an individual circuit, Evolving Networks connections employ link aggregation technology, along with latency normalisation, so that a single virtual pipe is presented to the customer LAN.
No wasted bandwidth, no significant overhead, sub 300ms failover time – a single logical connection that is then prioritised by user and business need.
Every app gets free reign over all the bandwidth unless a higher priority app takes precedence. So VoIP calls are maintained even while users browse web apps, and a local server saturates the rest of the bandwidth for online backup.
SD-WAN as a Service
With our unique Multi-VNO Access Network and provision of all managed appliances (including modems), all core datacentre presence, fully hosted and outsourced orchestration, and all underlying connectivity regardless of type, our SD-WAN as a Service offering is the most comprehensive in the market.
We believe that in order to do SD-WAN well, you need simplify delivery, and leverage the experience of a decade in managing broadband networks, software overlays and traffic prioritisation.
No other SD-WAN provider has orchestration at the modem level, with API integration into VNO networks for troubleshooting and fault fixing. Our management of the transport/access layer means that remote control and diagnostics at the DSL modem and platform level is fully automated. Devices can be reconfigured, rebooted, moved between transport networks, all without end user intervention.
By providing the crucial network underlay, and all devices and datacentres, we are the single point of contact for businesses, maintaining that important facet of network management from MPLS provision.
