About Cambridge Broadband Networks Ltd.
Cambridge Broadband Networks Ltd (CBNL) was established in the year 2000 when ten engineers from Cambridge University secured private equity funding to develop an innovative solution to the increased demand for mobile communications.
Pioneering next generation microwave transmission equipment since 2000, CBNL is the global leader in carrier-class, multipoint microwave backhaul and access solutions.
CBNL’s VectaStar platform is deployed by over 70 communications providers across 42 countries, including seven of the top ten mobile operators. With high capacity and unparalleled efficiency, VectaStar improves network spectral efficiency by at least 40%, whilst offering total cost of ownership savings of up to 50% compared to alternative technologies. With headquarters and in-house R&D facilities in Cambridge, UK we are part of the world-renowned Cambridge technology cluster.
