Now that we’ve seen the first real NFV service deployments hit the market, we need to look at what it’s going to take to scale these services and create a continuous and rapid cycle of new offerings.
Many of the market’s initial launches comprise relatively simple virtualized services deployed in siloed environments. In the B2B market, however, cloud VPN and security packages have been popular starting points. Over time, these services will grow in complexity as new value-added services are requested, requiring radical changes in operations environments. These changes will require MANO to take on a much broader scope, going beyond network and service orchestration to include additional functions that are needed to achieve real service automation.
In this webinar, we will discuss the full scope of functions needed to meet the operational goals of SDN/NFV, providing examples of real customer implementations that have significantly reduced the time it takes them to launch new services.
