In this advanced security DemoFriday presentation Paul Nicholson and Takahiro Mitsuhata of A10 join with Chiara Regale of Cisco to discuss the A10 Thunder ADC and Cisco ACI integration and its evolution. After an overview of the A10 Thunder ADC and Cisco ACI integration, a live demo of the latest advanced Layer 4-7 security services to be added to the A10 Cisco ACI device package will be shown, including showing how a compromised website will be protected by A10 Thunder ADC from configuration directly applied from Cisco ACI.
A10 Networks and Cisco ACI joint solution integrates the A10 Thunder physical and virtual appliances and Cisco ACI. The solution provides a robust set of network application, security, and other Layer 4 through Layer 7 automation functions. Customers can now realize the value of fully orchestrated and programmatically controlled L4-L7 services, service chaining, and centralized management.
Data center operators can use the Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC) integration with Thunder application delivery controllers (ADCs) to define a dynamic sequence of service functions. And they can do it in a way that can be abstracted from the concrete implementation. These functions include advanced distributed denial of service (DDoS) mitigation, SSL offloading, web application firewall (WAF) provisioning, load balancing, and traffic filtering on the A10 Networks Thunder platform.
The integration allows operators to address needs of agility and on-demand consumption while helping to ensure security and compliance in an increasingly shared infrastructure.
We look forward to seeing you on September 11 at 10:00am PT for this special A10 DemoFriday on advanced security!
