I am excited to announce that we have bolstered our editorial staff with a pair of new hires in our ever-expanding quest to bring you the best coverage from across the cybersecurity, telecom, 5G, and software-defined everything (SDx!) space.

First, I want to introduce everyone to Nancy Chenyizhi Liu, who has joined the SDxCentral editorial staff as an editor. Nancy will be working with Managing Editor Jessica Lyons Hardcastle to boost our cybersecurity coverage, as well as taking on individual coverage of data centers, networking, storage, and data management.

Nancy brings nearly 10 years of reporting, research, and organization experience from print and online media. She is also a bilingual communications professional and journalist with a Bachelor of Engineering in Optical Information Science and Technology, and a Master of Science in Applied Communication. Next, we recently welcomed Emma Chervek as our new editorial assistant. Emma leads our increasingly important sustainability coverage and boosts our ongoing cloud-native ecosystem coverage.

Emma graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa, with a degree in English and a passion for writing. Previously, she wrote for the Rachel Carson Council and various publications at her university. Emma can be reached at [email protected] or via social media: @emmachervek and Emma Chervek.

Nancy and Emma join the rest of our strong editorial team, which includes the previously referenced Jessica Lyons Hardcastle; Senior Editor Matt Kapko, who is our go-to person for 5G, RAN, edge, IoT, and the cloud; and Editor Tobias Mann, who is on top of our SD-WAN, SASE, and silicon coverage. I am also sticking around, mostly just getting in the way as I stand in awe of what a great editorial staff we have. Every once in a while I also chip in with coverage of the cloud native, container, and serverless computing space, but don't hold me to that.
