Roy Gignac is the founder of CLRware, a stealth-mode startup in the Enterprise NFV space. He is the inventor of CLRware’s service switching technology and author of the in-progress IP portfolio. Roy has held director and other senior-level product management positions at a number of networking equipment vendors, including SynOptics, Bay Networks, Nortel, and Trapeze. Areas of specialization include routing/switching, distributed systems, and network management. Prior to joining the vendor’s ranks, Roy was an information systems manager at Motorola, where he pioneered enterprise intranets and multi-protocol WAN backbones.
