You may have recognized a couple new bylines at SDxCentral. Jessica Lyons Hardcastle and Dan Meyer have joined the SDxCentral editorial team as senior editors and will be contributing to our growing coverage of software-defined everything (SDx).
Dan’s name you may recognize from his 17-year tenure at RCRWireless News where he most recently was editor in chief. Dan will be working out of our Denver office, focusing primarily on containers, lifecycle service orchestration (LSO), cloud automation, and DevOps. Of course, with his deep knowledge of the telecom industry, we’ll be looking for him to leverage his expertise in other areas as well. You can reach Dan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Jessica has worked at a number of business publications, including Environmental Leader, Energy Manager Today, Solar Novus Today, and Silicon Valley Business Journal. She will be working out of our Silicon Valley office, focusing on next-generation data centers and security. However, her close proximity to many of the movers-and-shakers in Silicon Valley means she’ll be branching into other areas as well. You can reach Jessica at email@example.com.
Dan and Jessica join the rest of the team, which includes Linda Hardesty, who was recently promoted to managing editor. Linda, who is also in our Denver office, oversees our news coverage and handles the SDN and NFV beat. And Wyatt Carlson, associate editor, also in Denver, focuses on SD-WAN and network monitoring. I’ll continue to cover 5G and the Internet of Things (IoT) as well as oversee some of our new editorial products like ebooks.
I’m thrilled to be working with this great team of talented journalists. Not only do we strive to bring you the latest breaking news and occasional scoops, but we also plan to deliver some intriguing in-depth features that I think will set us apart from the other media venues. –Sue
