Oracle reportedly cut more jobs this week amid its ongoing struggle to reinvent itself as a cloud company.

Oracle Data Cloud laid off 10% to 15% of its staff on Monday, AdExchanger reported citing multiple sources. According to TheLayoff.com, this included employees in San Jose, California; Broomfield, Colorado; and Reston, Virginia.

When asked about the reported cuts, an Oracle Data Cloud spokesperson provided an emailed statement to SDxCentral. “As our cloud business grows, we will continually balance our resources and restructure our team to help ensure we have the right people delivering the best products to our customers around the world,” it said. “Oracle Data Cloud is bringing together the full range of data assets that marketers need, and we are aligning our resources to take advantage of growth opportunities such as measurement, brand safety, and contextual advertising.”

Oracle Data Cloud provides a cloud-based data management platform for marketing. The company built it from technologies it acquired after purchasing six different companies: BlueKai, Datalogix, AddThis, Crosswise, Moat, and Grapeshot.

This week’s layoffs follow an even bigger round of cuts in March, during which Oracle reportedly axed hundreds of jobs globally. It also comes amid an exodus of executives.

Earlier this month Oracle Co-CEO Mark Hurd took a leave of absence from the company for undisclosed health reasons. In April, Oracle Data Cloud GM Eric Roza left the data unit.

Additionally, Thomas Kurian, Oracle’s top cloud executive, jumped shipped to lead Google Cloud late last year. And Oracle’s No. 2 cloud exec Amit Zavery left to join Kurian at Google in March.
