Extreme Networks, Inc. has appointed Anisha Vaswani as Chief Information and Customer Officer (CICO), a new executive role aimed at enhancing the interlock between technology innovation and customer experience.

In this position, Vaswani will report to President and CEO Ed Meyercord. Her responsibilities include developing the overall IT strategy to align technology investments with business objectives, driving internal innovation, and overseeing customer success initiatives. As “Extreme’s Customer ONE,” she will test and validate products and solutions prior to launch to ensure they meet industry standards.

Ed Meyercord noted, “Anisha is the perfect candidate to ensure that every innovation enhances the customer journey. Her expertise in cloud adoption, cybersecurity, and AI, along with her strong background in driving product adoption, will aid Extreme in our goal of becoming a leading SaaS provider.”

Prior to joining Extreme, Vaswani held CIO roles at several companies, including IDG, Box, Toast, Inc., and Shockwave Medical. There, she significantly contributed to revenue growth and operational scaling. She holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from San Jose State University.
